The Body & Ropes: Pressure Pleasure
with Asimira & Tree Ropes
Pressure is an unavoidable part of practicing rope, whether we’re talking about compressing the body to itself, the pressure of the ropes to the body or the pressure of one body onto another. Often when we talk about pressure it is in relation to pain (think pressure points), but pressure can also be a very pleasurable sensation. In this workshop we will look at ways to apply pressure in a rope scene in pleasurable ways.
Shibari from/with a Stool
with Misungui and Tree
Misungui has been tying people of varied builds and physical conditions for over 10 years, and through this has developed techniques to adapt the classic forms of shibari to all bodies and abilities, and and also has adapted her way of tying to help herself, as a relatively small rigger.
For her, tying with a stool is not only helpful in these respects, but also opens up a whole new world of playful possibilities!
Performance Night: Misungui & Tree
Misungui’s performances are renowned for their daring and playful nature, and indeed for the charismatic stage presence of Misungui herself.

Intimacy of Harm: How to build community
with Ella and Carson
When we relate to each other, it is inevitable that we will cause harm, but how can we transform these moments of pain into moments of closeness? How can we build a true, embodied, trauma and power aware consensual relationship with ourselves, and bridge that into our friendships? How do we imagine accountability? How can we forgive ourselves when we behave in imperfect and harmful ways?
And what do we dream of when we dream of community?

The Body & Ropes: For My Viewing Pleasure
with Asimira & Olivia
Having combined rope with my work as a nude model, aesthetics have been an integral part of my practice from the very beginning. I take pleasure from making something that I find beautiful to look at, despite or possibly partly because of the discomfort this might put my partner in. This workshop will be very hands-on and challenge you to think about what you find beautiful, in general and in the person you are with right now. Bottoms will be invited to channel into what it means to them to feel beautiful, how this can be achieved and how feeling this or quite the opposite influences their headspace.

Performance Night: RopuNawa & FreyaHellesdim
RopuNawa first encountered Shibari in 2008 at a performance in Australia. This performance stayed with him on his way back to Switzerland, where he began his own journey with ropes. For RopuNawa, there is not one way to tie, but the heart of his style lies in the needs of his model. This performance will be an intimate & playful encounter with his partner, Freya.
Bamboo Fun (against all odds)
with RopuNawa & FreyaHellesdim
Tying bamboo onto the body can be a lot of fun, as it is restrictive even without a lot of rope or elaborate techniques. In this workshop, we will create simple and effective ties to hold the bamboo on the body, using it in a playful way to create shapes – with and around the bamboo.
We will explore options for tying the body into bamboo on the floor, in suspension, and also combining it with Hashira!
Let’s see if you make the bamboo your model’s friend or opponent...
